Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated 30 August 2026
This is about what you pay us for VILMS. Refunds to your own students are yours to decide and are handled in your own payment account — we are not in that chain.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your billing page. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: future charges stop, and nothing is switched off before then. We do not ask you to email anyone or give a reason, and there is no notice period.
Trials
A trial is free and needs no card. If you add a payment method during the trial you are not charged until the trial ends — cancel before then and you are never charged.
Refunds
- Monthly plans: we do not refund part-months, because cancelling already leaves you with the access you paid for until the period ends.
- Annual plans: if you cancel within 14 days of the first payment of an annual term, we refund it in full. After that the term runs to its end, and you keep access throughout.
- If we are at fault: a prolonged outage, or a bill that was wrong — tell us and we will refund it. We would rather correct our own mistake than argue about a clause.
- Usage charges are billed after the usage happened, following the warnings described in the Usage & Fair Use policy, so they are not normally refundable. If you were charged without receiving those warnings, that is our error and we will refund it.
How refunds are paid
To the original payment method, normally within 5–7 working days, though your bank may take longer to show it. Email billing@vilms.in and a person will answer.
What happens to your data
Cancelling does not delete anything immediately. Your content and student records stay available to export for 60 days after your period ends. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will. After 60 days we may remove it permanently, so export first if it matters.
